DaVinci Resolve 21 Specialist for Multicam Podcast Editing
Budget: ₹2,500 – ₹0 INR
Project Description
I am starting a video podcast and am looking for an experienced DaVinci Resolve 21 specialist who can remotely assist me with the technical setup, editing workflow, and creation of professional podcast videos.
This is not simply a project where I send footage and receive a finished video. I want to learn the workflow while the freelancer works with me through screen sharing or secure remote access to my Windows PC.
The ideal freelancer should be able to explain each step clearly, help build a reusable DaVinci Resolve project template, and assist with editing the first few podcast episodes.
Main Tasks
The freelancer should help me with the following:
1. Project and Media Organization
Set up a clean DaVinci Resolve 21 project
Create appropriate folders and Media Pool bins
Establish clear naming conventions for camera, audio, graphics, music, and export files
Set the correct timeline resolution, frame rate, proxy, cache, and color-management settings
Recommend an efficient workflow for the footage recorded
2. Video Correction Before Editing
Help correct each complete camera angle before trimming, including:
Rotation and orientation
Cropping and reframing
Zoom and positioning
Exposure and brightness
White balance
Contrast and saturation
Matching skin tones across cameras
Matching the appearance of iPhone, Pixel, and guest-camera footage
Subtle background darkening, desaturation, or blur
Basic skin and facial touch-up without making the footage look artificial
Use of Color page nodes, scopes, stills, groups, and appropriate clip-level corrections
The corrections must remain associated with the individual camera angle and should not unintentionally affect all three cameras.
3. Podcast Graphics and Branding
Help create reusable templates for:
Podcast intro
Animated logo
Guest lower thirds
Section title cards
Rapid-fire round graphic
Disclaimer card
Captions and subtitles
Outro and YouTube end screen
Credits
Music and sound-effect placement
The graphic style should be modern, warm, minimal, and professional rather than flashy.
4. Shorts and Reels
Create a reusable 1080 × 1920 vertical timeline
Convert horizontal podcast footage into vertical video
Reframe the active speaker
Create teaser videos for YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels
Add readable burned-in captions
Highlight important words selectively
5. Reusable Project Template
The final DaVinci Resolve project should include reusable:
Media bins
Timeline structures
Multicam settings
Camera labels
Audio tracks
Color correction structure
Lower thirds
Section cards
Subtitle style
Intro and outro
Horizontal and vertical export presets
The goal is for me to reuse the same template for future episodes.
Training Requirement
The freelancer must be comfortable teaching during the session.
I need someone who can:
Explain what they are doing and why
Let me perform some steps under their guidance
Answer technical questions
Help troubleshoot mistakes
Recommend efficient keyboard shortcuts
Provide a repeatable workflow rather than temporary fixes
Work patiently with someone learning DaVinci Resolve
Clear spoken English is required.
