YouTube Video Editor – DaVinci Resolve + Blackmagic Cloud Collaboration

I’m looking for a highly skilled freelance video editor to work with my YouTube channels focused on tech and product reviews, including portable power stations, solar gear, and smart hardware. This is an ongoing role, with consistent projects each week, and the right fit could become a long-term collaboration.

About the Role
You will take the base A roll footage and timeline I provide and transform it into multiple high-quality deliverables per project. This is creative enhancement work, not complete raw footage assembly. You will be expected to improve pacing, add B roll, graphics, motion callouts, SFX, and polish storytelling for each deliverable.

All editing will be done in DaVinci Resolve using Blackmagic Cloud. Proxy media and structured project bins will be provided to help streamline your workflow. Do not apply if you are not an expert editor in DaVinci Resolve. Don't waste my time or yours, I am an editor myself, so I will know very quickly if you meet this criteria or not.

Scope of Work / Deliverables per Project

1x Full-Length YouTube Video
Enhance the provided A roll timeline into a polished video (average 10 –18 minutes) +/- depending on the project and video topic
Add B roll, feature callouts, motion graphics, music, SFX, and pacing adjustments
Focus on clarity, retention, and visual storytelling.

1x Short Form Video
Each short should be a completely unique story made from the main video
Optimized for YouTube Shorts and TikTok
Strong hooks, tight pacing, and creative presentation

1x Amazon Product Review Video
Condensed version of the main video highlighting product overview and key features
Informational only – no calls-to-action, subscribe prompts, or promotional segments
Streamlined and concise

Workflow
All editing occurs directly inside a shared Blackmagic Cloud project library
Proxy footage provided for smooth cloud collaboration
Structured bins and completed A Roll timeline will be provided.
Export presets for YouTube, Shorts, and Amazon version included

Turnaround & Revisions
Full-length YouTube video must be completed within 24-48 hours of receiving footage and project notice. No exceptions! Don't apply if you can't do this. I need consistency and reliability. The Amazon and and short completed within 24 hours of the delivered YT video. All revisions on YT videos remain the priority sense that is my channel focus.

Occasionally there may be more than 1 project at a time in the pipeline so balancing those will be your responsibility when that occurs.

Amazon and Short versions follow immediately after main video completion.

Revisions may occur occasionally after review but if those are usually limited once you understand what I am working on creating.


Requirements
Expert-level DaVinci Resolve experience
Proven experience with Blackmagic Cloud collaboration projects
Strong understanding of proxy workflows and cloud project organization
YouTube pacing and retention-focused editing skills
Clean timeline and media management
Ability to create motion graphics, callouts, and overlays
Experience editing tech or product review content is a major plus
Maintaining branding and styling techniques are extremely important.
I am open to creative ideas and improvements that make sense to my content.
