Weekend Virtual Assistant – Monitor Book Orders & Coordinate Delivery (Low-Activity | 2 Days a Week)

Project Description
We're seeking a reliable, consistent remote freelancer to help monitor our book delivery system every Saturday and Sunday, from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM Pacific Time (PST).

This is a low-activity role where you’ll mostly be on standby. Some days there may be no tasks at all, but your presence is essential in case an order comes in or a customer sends a message.

When an order does come through, your job will be to:

Quickly coordinate a delivery driver using DoorDash, UberEats, or another courier app

Confirm the dispatch and message us if needed

Be reachable and responsive throughout the shift

This role may be a good fit for freelancers who prefer night shifts or are in time zones where U.S. daytime falls during their evening hours (such as the Philippines, India, Pakistan, Eastern Europe, etc.)

What You’ll Do
Monitor a notification system for incoming orders

Use delivery apps to schedule couriers

Be responsive via Slack or WhatsApp if support is needed

Maintain a calm presence during idle periods

Requirements
Fluent English

Strong, stable internet connection

Familiarity with delivery platforms (or willingness to learn)

Professionalism and good judgment when coordinating deliveries

Schedule
Every Saturday and Sunday
9:00 AM – 9:00 PM Pacific Time (PST)
(12 hours per day, 2 days per week)

Compensation
$2 USD per hour to start

Paid even when no orders come in

Potential for raises or bonuses based on reliability and long-term performance
