Residential Rent Collection & Service

Job ID: 40053943

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

I oversee a nonprofit senior community of about 40 residential units and need a dependable partner to keep accounts payable and receivable on track while ensuring every tenant feels heard. Your core focus will be:

1. Monitor rent collection through our rental management software;
2. Monthly reconciliation in our accounting software (Wave);
3. Calculate and prorate electric bills monthly;
4. Responsive, courteous tenant customer service regarding billing and maintenance matters.

Our software tools are already set up and do most of the work, but you'll need to ensure that invoices are correct, follow up immediately on late payments, and manage utility bills. Equally important, you will be the first line of communication for tenants—answering questions, logging maintenance requests for our in-house team, and diffusing the small issues before they escalate.

Residence in the US, a US driver's license and W-9 forms are all requirements.

If you are US based, have experience in accounting software and have good communication skills, let’s talk.
