Residential Leasing Specialist

We own and manage several residential rental properties and are looking for a dependable Leasing Specialist to help us fill vacancies quickly with qualified, reliable tenants.

Your primary responsibility will be managing the leasing process from marketing through tenant selection. This includes:

- Creating and publishing rental listings
- Responding promptly to inquiries
- Scheduling and conducting property showings
- Following up with prospective tenants
- Coordinating rental applications
- Completing credit, employment, income, rental-history, and reference checks
- Presenting the strongest applicants for final approval
- Identifying potential concerns or red flags

Professional photos and floor plans will be provided. You may use Zillow, Apartments.com, MLS syndication, social media, and other appropriate marketing channels to generate broad exposure for each property.

Deliverables for Each Vacancy

- Professional marketing copy and active listing links
- A brief activity report covering inquiries, showings, applicant feedback, and follow-ups
- A shortlist of three to five qualified applicants
- Credit, employment, income, rental-history, and reference summaries for each finalist
- A clear applicant ranking and recommendation, including any red flags

Experience with platforms such as AppFolio, RentPrep, TransUnion SmartMove, Zillow Rental Manager, or similar screening tools is preferred but not required.

Training will be provided to the successful candidate. Previous leasing experience is not required. Applicants with no prior experience are welcome to apply.
