Part-Time Floral Logistics Assistant

Job ID: 40019862

Budget: €250 – €750 EUR

I run a fresh-cut flower business that ships daily to wholesalers and florists, and I’m looking for a freelance operative who can cover roughly four hours a day, Monday to Friday, to keep the back-end of our logistics running smoothly.

The core of the job is making sure every stem that arrives, leaves, and remains in the cooler is accounted for. Each morning you’ll reconcile yesterday’s receipts and sales inside our ERP, update the inventory management system so stock levels are always live, then process the new orders that come in before the midday cut-off. Once orders are packed by the warehouse team, you’ll book the outbound shipments, generate labels, and track each parcel through our preferred carriers, stepping in if a delivery stalls or a client asks for a quick status update. That means occasional customer interaction by email or phone, mostly limited to delivery ETAs or missing-box investigations.

You’ll work inside a modern tool stack—an ERP (we currently use Odoo but any NetSuite / SAP experience translates), dedicated inventory software, and standard shipment-tracking portals—so prior hands-on familiarity with these kinds of platforms is essential. Strong spreadsheet skills will help when you prepare the daily end-of-day KPI snapshot for me.

Deliverables and success criteria
• Daily inventory accuracy ≥ 98 % reported before 10:00 local time
• All incoming orders processed and pick lists released by 12:00
• Shipping labels created, tracking numbers returned to the ERP, and exceptions flagged the same day
• Concise end-of-day report covering stock levels, dispatched orders, and any issues that need my attention

If you can keep a cool head in a time-sensitive, perishable environment and you enjoy making logistics run like clockwork, let’s talk.
