NYC Street Team Brand Representative for a tech startup company

LOVE, a brand new way to communicate face-to-face, is seeking exceptional talent to join our street team as a photographer in residence.

LOVE is a new video messaging and calling platform reinventing how we communicate on the internet. We are backed by some of the world’s most respected leaders in film, video, media, internet, and the arts – including Warner Bros, the Serpentine Galleries London, popular artists and filmmakers, and the creators of Android. What we are looking for:
We are looking for friendly, approachable and outgoing individuals to take part in a unique public art installation and campaign as part of our street team. The expected campaign duration is 1-3 months.
Who you are:
You are a responsible individual who is comfortable working with teams and in public, speaking to new people and spreading positive energy. Previous experience in street marketing is beneficial but not essential. If you’re excited about new consumer technology and want to make the internet a better place to hang out with those you love then we want to hear from you.
What you’ll do:
We’ve built a creative team, composed of top artists, curators, producers, and technologists to reinvent visual expression on the internet. Currently, that is manifesting through a unique post-production process for photo / video images. Ultimately this process will be used to create unique identities, or “avatars” for people on our platform and the internet at large.
We are running a unique campaign to invite people to claim their unique post-processed headshot within our app. As a Brand Rep on the Street Team, you will attract visitors to the booth so they can take their Iconic headshot and upload it to LOVE.
As the Brand Ambassador/Photographer Assistant within our Street Team, you would be responsible for:
- Generating interest in the Iconic Headshot Campaign amongst passers-by in various locations around New York City
- Assisting booth participants with signing up to the LOVE app and inviting their friends
- Working together with other Street Team members to assemble and disassemble all equipment necessary for running the Booth such as photo backdrops, lighting etc.
Payment will be provided weekly, on a commission basis, based on the number of users acquired.
