Mock Asylum Interview Assistant
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m an immigration attorney gearing up a series of 30-minute mock asylum interviews for my clients and need someone dependable to run each session from home.
I supply the exact script of questions (each client’s script may differ). You read it verbatim, keep a steady pace, ensure both you and the client are on camera, record the call (Zoom, Meet, or similar), and drop the file in the shared folder right after we finish.
Pay is a flat $20 for every completed interview — about 30 sessions are already queued, so the initial payout should land near $600, and I’ll extend the arrangement if it works well for both of us. Because the goal is to keep the practice environment realistic, payment is tied to attendance: if a client cancels or no-shows, we simply reschedule and you’re paid once the session actually happens.
You do not need prior immigration or asylum knowledge, and being new to interviewing is perfectly fine. What matters most is a professional tone, clear spoken English, a stable internet connection, camera on at all times, and a quiet, distraction-free background.
Deliverables
One 30-minute recorded mock interview per assigned client
Both interviewer and client must appear on video during the session
Recording link uploaded within two hours of finishing
A brief note flagging any technical hiccups or unusual client issues
Acceptance Criteria
Full script is covered without improvisation
Recording is complete, audible, and clear (minimal background noise)
Runtime meets or exceeds 30 minutes
Camera remains on for both interviewer and client throughout
