Home-Based Technical Call Assistant
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
I need a reliable remote assistant with crystal-clear spoken English to take incoming technical-support calls for my software company. Most callers just need basic troubleshooting—guiding them through simple fixes, verifying system settings, or walking them through an installation—so a beginner-level grasp of software-development terms is plenty. You won’t be writing code, but you should understand enough jargon to recognise when an issue needs to be escalated to our engineers.
You will work from your own quiet home office, answer calls through our VoIP app, and record concise notes for each interaction in our ticket system. A fast, wired internet connection and a good headset are essential so callers hear you at your best.
Deliverables:
• Real-time call handling during the assigned shift
• A clear ticket for every call, including steps taken and outcome
• Immediate escalation of unsolved issues with all relevant details
If you are personable, patient, and can explain technical steps in plain language, I’d love to hear how soon you can start and what hours you’re available.
