Email Customer Support Admin Needed
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need someone who can take full ownership of our customer support inbox and keep response times consistently fast. All communication with users happens through email, so you should already feel comfortable drafting clear, friendly replies, tagging and escalating tickets when necessary, and keeping the thread history tidy.
Here’s what you’ll be doing day-to-day:
• Monitor the shared mailbox during agreed hours and answer every new message within our SLA.
• Use our templated replies when they fit, but personalise the tone so customers feel heard.
• Flag edge-case questions for me and record them in a simple FAQ sheet so we build a knowledge base over time.
• Send me a brief end-of-day summary highlighting common issues, unresolved threads, and anything that might improve the overall process.
Tools we already have in place are Gmail and simple Google Sheets; if you are experienced with Zendesk, Help Scout, or similar platforms, feel free to mention it—it’s a bonus but not required.
To apply, please share a short note describing your previous customer-support or admin experience and tell me how you stay organised when the inbox starts filling up. I’ll prioritise candidates who can start quickly and demonstrate a friendly writing style right from their first message.
Looking forward to working with you!
