Customer Support & Demo Assistant
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I run a young software service that is beginning to attract daily interest, and I need help keeping every prospect and user engaged. For now the workload is light—just a few minutes spread across the day—but I expect it to grow steadily into a full-time stream of conversations and demos.
The role centres on three recurring tasks:
• Answer incoming questions sent by email, our website’s live-chat widget, Facebook messages and WhatsApp. Most inquiries are general (“How does it work?” “Do you integrate with X?”), so a solid basic overview of the product is all that’s needed at this stage.
• Follow up with leads who reply to our outbound marketing campaigns, making sure they receive the next piece of information or scheduling a quick call if requested.
• Host short screen-share sessions to demonstrate the software’s key features. A simple, engaging walkthrough is enough; I’ll provide a script and a test account.
I supply reference docs, canned responses and a direct Slack line for anything you can’t answer on the spot. As volume increases, we’ll refine the knowledge base together and add more structured hours.
Deliverables each day:
1. Zero unanswered messages across all channels by end of shift.
2. A concise log of follow-ups and demo bookings in our CRM.
3. Feedback on recurring questions so we can improve templates and product copy.
If a customer feels heard and understood, we’ve done our job. I’ll handle any deep technical escalations while you keep the conversation flowing smoothly.
