Customer Live Chat Responder
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I need someone who can stay on top of incoming customer questions through our live-chat widget while working comfortably from home. Every message you handle represents my brand, so I value clear, friendly Indonesian and the good judgment to solve basic issues without a ready-made script.
Here is what the role looks like day to day:
• Monitor the live-chat queue during the agreed shift hours.
• Greet each visitor promptly, identify their need, and either resolve it or collect the details I will need to step in later.
• Keep concise notes in the chat history so any follow-up is seamless.
Because I have no predefined responses, you will need to craft replies on the spot, drawing on your own customer-service experience and any product information I share. If you have worked with tools such as Zendesk Chat, Intercom, or Tawk.to, that will help you pick things up quickly, though any solid live-chat platform experience is welcome.
Success for me means:
1. Average first-response time under two minutes during your shift.
2. Customer sentiment that stays positive, reflected in post-chat ratings.
3. A brief end-of-day summary highlighting recurring issues or questions.
Let me know how many hours per day you can reliably cover and a quick example (in Indonesian) of how you would greet a new visitor asking about product availability.
