Collect Bag & Remove Battery
Budget: $30 – $250 NZD
I have a black-strap Strandbags waist-pack waiting for me at the Ōtaki Police Station. I can supply a written authority so you can collect it on my behalf. Once you have the bag, please open the Android handset inside and detach the lithium battery with the usual small Phillips drivers or pry tools.
After the battery is out, I need the phone and the rest of the contents packed for international post, and dropped off at a postal office to be shipped. I am willing to pay for packaging.The loose battery can be recycled locally or returned separately under NZ Post dangerous-goods rules—whichever is easiest for you.
What I will give you:
• A case number so the station releases the property.
• Pre-paid shipping label or courier booking details once you confirm the weight.
What I need back:
• Clear photo of the phone showing the battery removed.
• The bag and contents (minus battery but including a wallet) sealed in a small carton, ready for pickup or drop-off at a post counter.
