Cold-Call NJ Philanthropist Meetings

Our education and workforce development nonprofit is planning a series of in-person meetings with New Jersey–based philanthropists. The task is straightforward: pick up the phone, speak directly with each philanthropist (not an assistant), and lock in a mutually convenient date, time, and location for a conversation with our executive director.

I will supply an initial contact list, talking points, and a short overview of our programs; feel free to refine the script so it sounds natural in your voice. Courteous persistence, accurate note-taking, and respect for donors’ time are essential throughout the outreach process.

• A brief call log noting attempts, outcomes, and any follow-up required
