Cashier for Robotics Store LA
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I’m setting up a small retail counter in Los Angeles that sells InMoov humanoid robot parts as well as fully assembled units. I’m looking for a dependable cashier who can keep the line moving, talk customers through basic purchase questions, and accurately close out the till at the end of each shift.
What you’ll be doing
• Ring up sales for both cash and credit/debit cards, issuing receipts and keeping the drawer balanced.
• Stand at the counter for most of the day—there’s a chair for breaks, but this is largely an on-your-feet role.
• Answer simple product questions (I’ll give you a quick walkthrough; no robotics background is required).
• Keep the workspace tidy and stocked with bags, tape, and small parts.
• Flag any discrepancies or unusual transactions immediately.
Tools on site include a modern POS terminal (touch screen with card reader) and a basic cash drawer. I’ll provide initial training on the POS and a cheat sheet on the InMoov line so you can speak confidently about the difference between selling, say, a servo kit versus a full robot.
I value punctuality, clear communication, and accuracy over prior robotics experience. If you’ve worked a register before—or you just have a knack for numbers and customer service—let’s talk.
