Job Description
I am relocating and need to quickly assess the resale value of household items in Islamabad, Pakistan. I am looking for a reliable, proactive freelancer based in Islamabad who can contact local furniture shops, electronics dealers, and second-hand buyers to obtain price estimates for my items.
I may not have sufficient time to sell items individually on OLX or Facebook Marketplace, so this task focuses on bulk outreach to local buyers and businesses.
Items to Be Priced (7 Total)
- Bed with Mattress
- Table with Chair
- Refrigerator (Fridge)
- Kitchen Hood
- Air Conditioner (AC)
- Air Purifier
Scope of Work
- For each of the 7 items, the freelancer must:
- Contact at least 10 local businesses or buyers per item (e.g., furniture stores, used electronics shops, scrap dealers, refurbishers).
- Create WhatsApp group chats for outreach and include me in each group chat.
- Share photos and basic details of each item with buyers (I will provide photos and details).
- Call buyers when needed to negotiate or clarify pricing.
- Collect price offers / buyback estimates.
- Identify which buyers are willing to purchase, including:
Offered price
Buyer/business name
Location
Final Deliverables
A summary report (Google Doc or PDF) listing:
- Each item
- All contacted buyers
- Offered prices
- Recommended best options (highest price / easiest pickup)
- Active WhatsApp group chats showing outreach and responses.
- Clear recommendation on which buyers I should proceed with.
Requirements
Must be physically based in Pakistan
Fluent in Urdu
Comfortable making phone calls and WhatsApp outreach
Familiar with local second-hand markets and dealers
Professional, organized, and responsive
Timeline
Task should be completed within 5–7 days
