Chat Support & Fan Engagement Agent (Remote)

About the Role
We are a social media content management team looking for a high performing, friendly, reliable Chat Support Agent to manage subscriber messaging for a creator's paid membership platform. Pay will be hourly + commission.
Your job is to keep conversations flowing, answer questions, build genuine rapport with subscribers, and encourage engagement and repeat purchases through great customer service.
This is a text-based, conversational sales and support role. No calls, no video. If you love chatting, have strong English, and can build relationships with people online, this is for you.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to incoming direct messages
- Build friendly, ongoing relationships with subscribers to boost retention
- Answer questions and provide a positive customer experience
- Promote available paid content and upsell add-ons in a natural, non-pushy way
- Follow provided chat scripts, brand voice, and messaging guidelines
- Keep accurate notes on conversations and log sales activity
- Meet daily engagement and conversion targets
Requirements
- Excellent written English (grammar, spelling, tone)
- Strong typing speed (40+ WPM preferred)
- Sales-minded, persuasive, and personable communicator
- Reliable internet connection and a distraction-free work setup
- Able to commit to consistent shift hours, including some weekends
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Previous experience in chat support, customer service, sales, or social media management is a plus
