Autobiography
Budget: $5,000 – $10,000 USD
To say I've led an interesting life is a bit of a dichotomy. Everyone has said I need to write a book, and it's always been something I'd like to do in order to show how a seemingly "stereotypical" girl (think class pres, Homecoming queen, cheerleader, dated the Ivy league quarterback etc meets Circus performer, with the "secrets" of suicide, mental disorders, alcoholism, childhood molestation from age 2 by a friend all the way thru the large Tyndall settlement where I was the first patient in 1989. I'm conservative but had abortions, eating disorders, mental illness, loss of parents weeks apart, stolen company, (by friends) leading to a few year period of a breakdown in my late 40's with four sons at home and an alcoholic husband. In this generation of "wokeness" I am a survivor, love myself, have raised kind sons all adults now and people think Ive lived a charmed life. Ha! This is the anti woke book about all of us being someone's child regardleess of age and being confifent enough in who I am to thrive despite many many challanges and nearly no support because I'm the girl with "a million friends" but in reality have almost no trusted friends. I feel it is a way to show teens, young adults and even older individuals that life isnt as it seems and you can be true to yourself and confident and yes, conservative, without blaming others. We need more positivity and realism in this world. I have so much documented that I wanted to wait and see if this was a topic that might gain attention of large audience.
I think this could be a series instead of just one book. I'm thinking likely 250 ish pages.
