Desktop E-commerce Site Build

I need a desktop-first e-commerce website built from scratch with clean, maintainable HTML5, CSS3, and vanilla JavaScript. If React helps you organise components more effectively, feel free to use it, but keep the final bundle lean and quick to load.

Structure and performance matter just as much as looks. Every page must be SEO-friendly with semantic headings, descriptive meta tags, and clean URLs. I expect a first contentful paint under two seconds on a typical broadband connection and Lighthouse scores in the 90s for both Performance and SEO.

Customers must be able to register, log in, and manage their own accounts. Please wire the front-end authentication flow so it can drop into any standard back-end later.

Here is what I will review on delivery:
• Desktop-optimised layout that can be extended to other breakpoints later
• Fully functional customer signup / login / password reset screens
• Standards-compliant, well-commented source code in a Git repository
• Minified assets, lazy-loaded media, and a clear file structure
• Lighthouse report demonstrating the performance and SEO targets met

Handing over a short README that explains project setup and build commands will round things off nicely.
