I’m ready to launch a new US-facing Shopify Plus storefront and need a developer who can take it from blank theme to polished, conversion-focused production site—fast.
Core build requirements
• Custom checkout flow that leverages Shopify Plus Scripts and Functions for tailored pricing, shipping rules, and discounts.
• Product pages that let shoppers configure items on the fly, including a bespoke visualiser tool so they can see changes in real time.
• Advanced search and layered filtering to surface the right SKU quickly, powered by Shopify’s Storefront API or an app-free Liquid/JavaScript approach.
Design direction
Clean pages dominated by high-quality product photography; I’ll provide the imagery, you handle responsive layout, lazy-loading, and retina optimisation.
Scope of work
– Theme architecture, Liquid templates, and section-based CMS controls so my team can update content without touching code.
– Custom apps or extensions (if needed) for the visualiser and checkout logic.
– Performance tuning, accessibility checks, and core web-vitals pass.
– QA and staging deployment, then guided go-live on the Plus server.
Tech stack
Shopify Plus, Liquid, Theme App Extensions, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5/CSS3, GraphQL Storefront API. Familiarity with Shopify CLI and Git version control is essential.
