Budget: ₹600 – ₹1,500 INR
I need a smooth-running star rating feature (1–5 stars) added to my website so visitors can review and score the digital products we sell. The goal is to encourage engagement and provide quick visual feedback for each item without slowing the site down or cluttering the interface.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
• A clean front-end widget that shows empty, hover, and selected stars, works on desktop and mobile, and blends with our current style sheet.
• Back-end logic to save, update, and average individual ratings securely in our existing database.
• Prevention of duplicate votes by the same user or session.
• An at-a-glance average score and total vote count displayed on every product page.
• Lightweight code with clear comments so my in-house team can tweak it later if needed.
If you’ve built rating systems before, especially for digital-only catalogs, I’d love to see examples. Please outline the tech stack you’ll use, any libraries or plugins you recommend, and how long you’ll need from kickoff to launch.
