The link at https://www.freelancer.com/groups/general-announcements/feed/327987/comments has stopped working and now behaves like a classic broken link. I need the underlying cause identified and a clean, permanent fix applied.

I’m not yet sure whether the faulty anchor sits in the header, main content, or footer, so part of the job is to locate it, inspect the DOM with browser dev-tools, and correct whatever is wrong—whether that’s a malformed URL, missing route, or a bit of JavaScript blocking navigation. Solid HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and general debugging skills will be useful here.

Deliverables
• A fully functional link on the page, tested in Chrome and Firefox
• A brief summary (steps taken, before/after code or screenshots) so I can replicate the solution elsewhere

Acceptance criteria: after your fix the page loads without error, and the repaired link reliably directs to its intended destination on standard desktop browsers with no console warnings.
