WordPress Malware & Graphics Rescue
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
My WordPress site has been hit by malware and, at the same time, several graphic elements have broken. I need someone who can jump in quickly, clean the infection, harden the installation, and make every image, slider, and icon render normally again.
Security tasks
• Scrub the entire site of malware and backdoors.
• Bring all security-related plugins up to their latest safe versions and confirm they are configured properly (I currently rely on Wordfence, though I’m open to better options).
• Patch any vulnerable core, theme, or plugin files you find and close obvious loopholes such as weak file permissions.
Graphics fixes
• Restore missing or broken images throughout the site.
• Repair sliders that stopped rotating after the infection.
• Ensure all visual elements load at normal speed and display crisply on desktop and mobile.
Acceptance criteria
• Site scans (from Wordfence or Sucuri) come back 100 % clean.
• No redirected or suspicious outbound links remain.
• All pages show their intended graphics and sliders without console errors.
• Core, theme, and plugin versions are fully up to date and documented in a hand-over report.
Please tackle this on a staging copy first, then migrate the clean, fixed version to production once I confirm everything works.
