Website 404 Error Resolution

I'm currently facing an issue with my website where I'm getting a 404 error on the "Contact" page and all the other pages, apart from the homepage. Along with this error, a specific message saying "Page not found" is displayed.
This error began after I added some code for google analytics in the footer portion of the SEO Settings. I have since removed this code and I still receive error.
Here is what I need:
- Fix the error in a way that it does not recur in the future
- Ensure that the 'Contact' page and all other pages are properly accessible without any errors
