Stripe + SOAP API Dev Needed – Asset Check Website (Australia)

We’re launching a small Australian web app that lets users check reports for vehicles and assets via the official B2G SOAP API. Users will enter a VIN or HIN, pay via Stripe, and instantly receive a government-sourced PDF report.

Key Tasks:

• Build a clean, mobile-first frontend (VIN input, payment, result screen)
• Connect to the government B2G SOAP API (we’ll provide the WSDL + credentials)
• Generate and send the returned XML as a formatted PDF
• Send the PDF via email and display confirmation on-screen
• Integrate Stripe Checkout (secure card handling)
• Implement basic error handling + simple admin logging

Requirements:

• Compatibility: Both desktop and mobile
• No user authentication is required
• Support AEST Time zone

Tech Stack Preferences:

• Frontend: HTML/CSS (Tailwind or Bootstrap)
• Backend: Python (Flask/FastAPI) or Node.js (Express)
• Hosting: Netlify, Vercel or AWS
• Email: SendGrid/SMTP for PDF delivery

Must Have:

• Proficiency in web app development
• UI/UX design for responsive interfaces
• Prior experience with SOAP/XML APIs
• Familiarity with Stripe Checkout
• Good English + clear communication
• Secure, well-documented code
