Static Site Speed & Design Refresh

Job ID: 40213992

Budget: $30 – $250 AUD

My BMX-lifestyle site, https://rndm-bmx.com/, is built the old-school way—pure HTML, CSS and a touch of JavaScript. I need a developer who can give it a spring-clean so every page loads fast, looks brighter and delivers a smoother ride for visitors.

Here’s what I’d like done:

• Performance tune-up – audit the current code, compress images, minify and combine files, and add any light-weight caching or lazy-loading tactics that make sense for a static build so pages feel instantly responsive.
• Visual polish – keep the bold, bright and colourful vibe but tighten spacing, tweak typography and clean up any inconsistent styling so the overall design feels cohesive.
• Subscription button – drop a clearly visible opt-in (Mailchimp, TinyLetter or similar; I’m open) and hook it up so I can start capturing emails.
• Smarter internal linking – add prominent links to our other pages / sections so visitors don’t miss the good stuff.
• Little extras – anything quick you spot that improves UX or keeps the code base tidy, let me know and we’ll roll it in.
• Little extras – including a few extra Images on the site too.

I’ll provide repo or server access as soon as we kick off and I’m happy to review work in small milestones so we can test changes live. If you’ve got proven chops in static-site optimisation and front-end tweaks, I’d love to see a couple of examples, then let’s make the site pop. ;)
