Squarespace Website Developer with Parallax Scrolling Experience (Custom Design)
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
We are seeking a skilled Squarespace Website Developer with expertise in creating custom websites with parallax scrolling effects. The candidate should be able to design a unique website that is not based on any pre-existing templates.
The successful candidate will have experience in creating websites that are both visually appealing and highly functional, with a strong understanding of design principles and the ability to incorporate parallax scrolling effects into their work.
Responsibilities:
Please code for us, using JAVA, CSS, HTML etc:
1. A custom SquareSpace website that is still able to be edited by us (drag/drop etc)
2. Needs to load quickly
3. Must think ‘mobile first’ and ‘mobile responsive’ when designing
4. We want it to have a parallax scrolling/navigation theme, similar to https://www.helionenergy.com/
5. The first section (home) will open with a video similar to the opening section (home) of https://www.oncorps.ai/ (we are creating the video - you do not need to)
6. The next section will be like https://www.apple.com/au/apple-watch-ultra/ (specifically the part where it is in grey and talks about the features “everything in its place”) We want to show our product and highlight 3 or 4 features here, as it rotates. (we are creating the video - you do not need to, but you need to make it stop/start/parallax).

7. Some of the following sections will stay the same as on our current website, so will be easier to copy/paste
8. We have the content (words, videos) ready to go.

Requirements:
Strong experience in developing custom websites using Squarespace
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Experience with parallax scrolling effects
Understanding of SEO best practices
Attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines
