Scheduled Admin Chat Broadcaster
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m building an internal chat dashboard and I need a reliable way to broadcast text messages from a single admin panel. The core requirement is a scheduling feature so I can queue messages to go out at specific times without manual intervention.
Scope
• Develop a web-based (or easily deployable) admin interface where I can compose plain-text announcements.
• Add a scheduler that supports one-off and recurring sends, showing upcoming broadcasts in a simple calendar or list view.
• Deliver real-time confirmation that a message has been sent successfully (basic status log is fine).
Optional flexibility
While user management and file sharing aren’t needed right now, please keep the code modular so those pieces could be plugged in later if required.
Tech expectations
I’m open to popular stacks such as Node.js + Express, Laravel, or Django as long as setup is straightforward. If you already have experience with sockets, Firebase, or similar real-time messaging services, mention it—low-latency delivery is important.
Deliverables
1. Source code with clear installation instructions (readme).
2. A short video or screenshots demonstrating message creation, scheduling, and automatic broadcast.
3. Brief hand-off notes outlining how to deploy to a standard cloud host (Heroku, DigitalOcean, or AWS Lightsail).
Timeline is flexible but I’d like a working prototype to test within two weeks.
