Responsive E-commerce Web Application

The project entails building a fully-responsive e-commerce web application that feels fast and intuitive on both desktop and mobile screens. Core screens include catalog browsing, product detail pages, a streamlined checkout flow, and an admin-friendly back-office. A clean, modern interface is a must, so thoughtful use of CSS frameworks (Tailwind, Bootstrap, or a bespoke solution) and component libraries is welcome as long as the final look remains lightweight and on-brand.

Functionally, the app must:
• handle secure user sessions with best-practice authentication and encrypted data at rest and in transit;
• connect to a relational or NoSQL database for products, orders, and user data;
• deliver sub-second page transitions through optimized queries, caching, and code splitting;
• pass a pre-delivery test suite that covers critical paths such as add-to-cart, payment callback, and order confirmation.

Clean, well-documented code is non-negotiable; comments, meaningful commit messages, and a concise README should make future maintenance straightforward.
