PHP Corporate Site Enhancements

I already have a live corporate site running on PHP, but several areas need refinement. I’d like an experienced PHP developer to jump into the existing codebase, identify weak spots, and implement clean, well-documented improvements without disrupting current operations.

Core objectives
• Update and streamline selected sections of the code so pages load faster and are easier to maintain.
• Adjust front-end markup and styling where necessary to keep the look consistent across modern browsers and screen sizes.
• Add small pieces of new functionality (for example, an extra form, improved admin controls, or a simple API integration) while respecting the site’s current architecture.
• Ensure every change is regression-tested before deployment.

The stack you’ll touch includes PHP 7.x, MySQL, vanilla JavaScript, and a light CSS framework. I’ll provide Git access, a staging environment, and a short list of priority tasks as soon as we start; you can suggest further optimisations once you’ve had a quick code review.

Deliverables
– Updated PHP files committed via Git with clear comments
– Any modified SQL scripts or migration notes
– A brief changelog outlining what was done and why
– Confirmation that the staging build passes functional testing
