Minimalist Catalogue Website Rebuild
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
I’m relaunching our 1997-era product catalogue site and want it rebuilt in pure HTML, CSS and JavaScript—no WordPress, no CMS overhead. The brief is intentionally lean: a clean landing page that lists every product, plus an individual page for each item featuring several photos and a short description. We will need to update these pages ourselves, so the code must be clearly structured and commented to make editing straightforward in any text editor.
The original layout, colours and overall aesthetic must remain recognizable; think of this as a faithful refresh rather than a redesign. Beyond that, I care most about fast loading, responsive behaviour on mobile, and simple stock-count fields that can be changed quickly.
You’ll receive all existing images and text from the current site. Deliverables should include:
• Fully responsive static site matching the legacy look
• Reusable HTML template for product pages
• Simple instructions (markdown or text) showing us where to edit content and stock numbers
If this aligns with your skill-set in vanilla HTML/CSS/JS, let’s talk timelines and any questions you have about the original assets.
