Overview: We are seeking an experienced freelance web developer to create a responsive web application that enables users to design personalized posters of their sports routes (running, cycling, hiking, etc.), similar to Majorfeat.net
Responsibilities:
Develop a responsive web application using Next.js, React (or Vue.js), Tailwind CSS, and Shadcn UI.
Implement interactive map features with Mapbox, allowing users to upload or manually create their sports routes.
Integrate Supabase for user authentication and secure data storage.
Enable customization options for poster design, including color schemes, styles, and text additions.
Ensure high-resolution export functionality for print-ready posters.
Optimize the application for performance and scalability.
Requirements:
Proven experience in web development with a strong portfolio of similar projects.
Proficiency in Next.js and React (or Vue.js).
Experience with Tailwind CSS and Shadcn UI for styling.
Familiarity with Mapbox for interactive map implementations.
Experience with Supabase for backend services, including authentication and data storage.
Understanding of UI/UX principles to ensure an intuitive user experience.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with image processing for generating high-resolution exports.
Understanding of sports tracking data formats (e.g., GPX, KML) and standards.
Passion for sports and familiarity with the needs of athletes.
