Landing Page for Start Up

Job ID: 38560384

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

We are looking for a freelancer to help us create a landing page.

It is a very classic and simple landing page. The final deliverable should include clean, well-structured HTML, CSS, and JS files, built using Bootstrap. The page should be responsive and optimized for mobile devices.

Key requirements:

Experience with Bootstrap
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Ability to work with the provided AdobeXD prototype (knowledge of AdobeXD is required)
Clean, maintainable code
Cross-browser compatibility
The frontend design is complete in AdobeXD. We expect the project to be completed by 22.09.2024. Regular updates on progress are expected.

The freelancer is responsible for the following tests:
- Responsiveness
Goal: The site must look good and be usable on different screen sizes (desktop, tablet, mobile devices).
Test: Check whether the layout adapts dynamically to different screen sizes. This includes testing different breakpoints (as provided in Bootstrap) and making sure that no content is cut off or displayed strangely.

- Cross-browser compatibility
Goal: The page must be able to be displayed and used correctly in all common browsers.
Test: Check the page in different browsers such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and older versions of Internet Explorer if necessary to ensure that there are no display problems.

- Performance
Goal: The page should load quickly in order to offer a good user experience and not cause high bounce rates.
Test: Test page loading times on different devices and internet connections (e.g. using tools such as Google PageSpeed Insights or GTmetrix). Pay attention to the size of the files used (e.g. images, scripts) and optimize them if necessary.

- Functionality
Goal: All interactive elements on the page (forms, buttons, links) must work as intended.
Test: Check all links to ensure that they point to the correct pages or sections. Test forms (if available) to ensure that inputs are validated and submitted correctly.

- Error handling
Goal: The site should respond robustly to errors in code or user input.
Test: Check how the page reacts to invalid or unexpected input. For example, test what happens if a form field remains empty or an invalid input is made.

- SEO optimization
Goal: The page should be optimized for search engines in order to achieve better visibility.
Test: Check the HTML code for meta tags (e.g. title, description), correct use of headings (H1, H2, etc.) and semantic structure.

- Security
Goal: Ensure that there are no security vulnerabilities, especially for form entries (e.g. to prevent cross-site scripting (XSS)).
Test: Check the site for basic security measures, especially for form submissions, to ensure that no unsecured fields or scripts are vulnerable.

Attached you will find an excerpt from the Adobe XD prototype. The whole website has a one-page structure. The link for the Adobe XD prototype will be made available to you in the event of a possible collaboration.
