Invitation to Collaborate on a High-Impact Web Development Project

We are seeking a skilled web developer to join us in a critical project. Whether you are an individual developer or represent a web design company, we invite you to be part of our team.
As our web developer, you will be responsible for:
- Conducting user research and competitor analysis to inform design requirements
- Creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for the new design
- Redeveloping the site using a modern framework and CMS
- Implementing a responsive, inclusive, and user-friendly design that aligns with our vision and mission
- Incorporating features, tools, or APIs that enhance our site’s functionality and usability
- Ensuring the site complies with relevant accessibility standards and data regulations
- Conducting usability testing and launching the site without bugs
- Providing maintenance and support for the site for 12 months after launch (optional)
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 10+ years of experience in web design and development, preferably for corporate clients in the development sector
- Proficiency in front-end technologies like HTML/CSS and back-end technologies like PHP/MySQL
- Experience with content management systems like WordPress
- Knowledge of web design best practices, trends, and standards
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with our communications team
- Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills
- A portfolio of previous website redesign projects
The project will start in April and last for 6-8 months. We are open to hiring either an individual contractor or a small design agency.
