HTML Email Newsletter Coding
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m ready to turn my existing newsletter design into a rock-solid, fully responsive HTML email that will carry our news updates to subscribers every week. You’ll receive the finished layout files (Figma/PSD) and all imagery; your job is to translate them into clean, table-based markup with inline CSS so the final .html renders perfectly in Gmail, Outlook, Apple Mail and the major webmail clients.
Because this is strictly a news-update newsletter, fancy effects aren’t necessary, but if a light touch of CSS3 or progressive enhancement can be added without breaking client compatibility, I’m open to it. Any JavaScript must degrade gracefully, as many email clients block it outright.
Deliverables
• One pixel-perfect, fully responsive HTML file ready for upload to Mailchimp/SendGrid
• Optimised, Retina-ready image assets placed in a local /images folder
• Commented code so minor text or image swaps are easy for my team
• A short test report or screenshots (Litmus, Email on Acid, or similar) proving cross-client rendering
Acceptance criteria: if the template displays correctly in the latest versions of Gmail (web & app), Outlook (desktop & web), Apple Mail, Yahoo Mail and Thunderbird, the job is done.
The design is locked, so no creative work is needed—just meticulous coding and client-side testing. If you have deep experience with HTML email quirks and enjoy squeezing perfect layouts out of restrictive environments, this should be a straightforward, enjoyable task.
