Government Slot Booking Chrome Extension

I need a Google Chrome extension that speeds up the appointment-slot race on a specific government services site. The add-on should:

• Auto-fill every required form field with user-saved data the instant the booking page loads
• Watch the calendar in the background, refresh at a reasonable interval, and grab the first open slot that meets preset date or time rules
• Alert the user the moment a slot is secured—or, if no slot is found yet, send a desktop or push notification as soon as one appears

All logic must run client-side, respect the site’s existing captcha or token flow, and fall back gracefully if the page layout changes. I’ll need the unpacked source, a signed .crx ready for one-click installation, and a brief README that shows how to update selectors should the site’s HTML change. Keep the code clean, commented, and limited to standard Chrome APIs (no third-party automation services).
