Full-Stack WooCommerce Developer Needed:
Custom B2B Parts Catalog, RepairDesk POS Sync, & Freight AutomationProject Description

I am looking for an experienced full-stack WordPress/WooCommerce developer to build a clean, mobile-first, high-performance online catalog for 500 to 1,000 marine and industrial parts. The site must be optimized for commercial operators, aquaculture farms, and boat owners ordering from remote worksites or docks.

The developer will be responsible for creating the initial product spreadsheets, matching supplier details, and establishing a unified data inventory structure. A key requirement of this build is a seamless, real-time integration with RepairDesk POS software to synchronize parts data, stock levels, and invoices natively between the online store and our physical operations.

The site will be hosted on my existing high-performance hosting account, and database response times must remain under 2 seconds. No interactive booking calendars are required. Service inquiries will route strictly via direct phone and email links.
Key Technical Requirements
1. UI/UX Design & Layout ArchitectureMobile-first responsive layout with an industrial aesthetic (high contrast text, bold category blocks, minimal clutter).Home page with a global catalog search bar and touch-friendly navigation for roughly 30 product categories.Persistent, sticky header/footer bar displaying "Call Mobile Service" and "Email an Expert" with direct tel: and mailto: links across all devices.
2. RepairDesk POS Integration & Catalog SyncSetup and configure the native RepairDesk WooCommerce REST API integration to handle real-time 2-way syncing for inventory quantities, descriptions, and updates.Map WooCommerce product categories with RepairDesk inventory groups to maintain complete data consistency across platforms.Ensure automated invoice creation in RepairDesk immediately upon order completion on the WooCommerce backend.
3. Database Structure & Faceted FilteringComplete database creation, parsing, data cleanup, and organization of a 75% to 85% SKU match from raw supplier information before initial execution.Group complex item size variations into clean, singular parent pages with dropdown selectors to keep the database light.Faceted product filtering via AJAX (FacetWP or equivalent) allowing users to filter concurrently by Brand, Category, and Engine Series/Model without reloading the page.Support for downloadable PDF specification sheets and schematics attached to specific products.
4. B2B / Wholesale Portal & Hybrid CheckoutEnforce manual administrator approval for all incoming trade account registrations.Support for 3 distinct customer roles/tiers showing automatic, role-based pricing and custom line-item margins when logged in.Hybrid checkout architecture: Standard parts use a regular "Add to Cart" checkout via Stripe. High-ticket items (such as complete engine repowers) must hide pricing and replace the cart button with a "Request a Quote" prompt.Backend configuration to route relevant metadata for drop-shipping suppliers.

5. 3-Tier Shipping & Local Pickup LogicTier 1 (Under 25kg): Integrate Australia Post API for live calculated rates at checkout, alongside an option for Local Pickup.Tier 2 (Over 25kg): Programmatically block Australia Post options and display a hardcoded message: "Oversized Cargo: Carrier Freight Quote Required". Retain a free Local Pickup option for these items.Tier 3 (Restricted Items): Configure a product class that forces "Pickup Only", globally hiding all shipping methods if present in the cart.
6. Advanced Custom Quotation FormsHigh-ticket quote buttons must trigger an advanced form capturing: Equipment Model, Serial Number, Client Contact Details, Shipping vs. Pick-up Preference, and Order Urgency (Overnight Express vs. Regular). The form must include a secure file upload layout permitting customers to attach up to 2 verification images (.jpg/.png).Milestone & Deliverables Expected in Quote Please break down your proposal costs and timelines into the following four distinct milestones:
Phase 1: Staging stack provisioning, wireframes, homepage UI layout approval, and persistent header/footer contact line integration.
Phase 2: Product database asset sheet creation, bulk importing/mapping of 500-1,000 SKUs, RepairDesk API mapping/category syncing, and faceted filtering index setup.
Phase 3: 3-tier B2B role creation, Stripe payment gateway configuration, high-ticket quote swaps, and 3-tier delivery logic automation.
Phase 4: Custom 2-image upload quote form engineering, comprehensive cross-device mobile testing, checkout simulation passes, production deployment, and live launch.Post-Launch Requirements
Please specify your included post-launch warranty period for technical bug fixes, as well as your optional ongoing monthly maintenance rates for core updates, secure site backups, and future POS sync tuning.

To ensure you have read this brief and understand the technical requirements, automated or generic bids will be deleted instantly. Please include the code word "TASSIE MARINE" at the very top of your proposal, and provide brief answers to these 3 technical vetting questions:RepairDesk Integration: Have you worked with the RepairDesk REST API or similar POS integrations? Briefly explain how you plan to handle webhook failures if the 2-way stock sync drops out during a heavy traffic period.WooCommerce Freight Logic: How will you programmatically block standard Australia Post shipping rates and replace them with our custom "Oversized Item: Carrier Freight Quote Required" notice when the cart contents exceed 25kg?Faceted Filtering Performance: To keep database response times under 2 seconds across 1,000 SKUs on a cloud host, would you use standard WordPress meta queries for the dynamic filters (Brand/Model), or do you recommend an index-based solution? Explain why.
