FreeScout Navigation Module Creation in Laravel - 14/04/2024 23:10 EDT
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I need a Laravel programmer with FreeScout experience to develop a custom module that will introduce up to 4 additional links to the navigation or menu bar. These links will open a new browser tab to external websites not related to the FreeScout/Laravel installation. For example, a link to a Google Doc or Google Sheet.
Key requirements:
- The custom Module must be compatible with the latest version of FreeScout.
- The custom navigation bar options should continue the existing FreeScout top menu bar.
- The links should work in both light and dark modes without errors.
You will be required to:
- Program the custom FreeScout Module so it can be installed onto any installation.
- Ensure the custom Module works with the latest version of FreeScout and is bug-free.
- Ensure there are no errors or warnings in the web browser from activating the custom Module.
A user interface or configuration page is not necessary and not required. The links, text, and URL options should be configured from inside a file stored in the custom Module's directory. If we need to change the options, change a URL, or update the text, we would edit the config file in the Module's directory to make the changes. A FreeScout options/settings page is not required and not needed.
The project has no strict deadline, but I would appreciate a quick turnaround. The ideal freelancer should have:
- A strong experience with Laravel, particularly in custom module creation.
- A solid understanding of FreeScout modules and navigation/menu items.
- Experience working with FreeScout on custom programming projects.
I have attached an example image of an existing FreeScout top navigation bar where we have added 4 additional links to show how the finished Module should look. The additional options are "Google Doc", "Link2", "Another", and "Four" in the example photo. The additional hyperlinks should be placed either after the last dropdown menu option ("Reports" in the example), or after the toggle switch for light/dark mode. Either place is acceptable. The hyperlinks must be on the left side navigation and should end before the notification bell icon from the right side navigation class.
