### ABOUT THE PROJECT ###

We are rebuilding the website for a loyal customer:
https://roc-sports.medienvirus.com/ (DEV-ENVIRONMENT)
We need help with a specific layout challenge involving Elementor's header/sidebar and megamenu functionality.
-> The main navigation is located on the LEFT SIDE, implemented as a HEADER TEMPLATE in Elementor.
-> The main content area on the RIGHT SCROLLS INDEPENDENTLY.
-> Some navigation items open MEGAMENU OVERLAYS, which should float ABOVE the content.
CURRENT ISSUE:
-> We want to add MORE ITEMS to the navigation. Therefore, the navigation container needs to become SCROLLABLE (overflow-y).
-> Once we make it scrollable, the megamenus OPEN UNDERNEATH the content instead of OVERLAYING it. This breaks usability completely.
-> This is NOT a simple z-index issue. We have a potential workaround (e.g. portaling hover elements elsewhere in the DOM), but haven’t had time to explore it fully.
-> We can share our prior ChatGPT-based draft solution with you if you're interested.

-> Make the SIDEBAR/HEADER SCROLLABLE VERTICALLY.
-> Ensure the MEGAMENU OVERLAYS still appear ABOVE ALL OTHER CONTENT.
-> Implement the solution CLEANLY WITHIN ELEMENTOR (either via Custom Code or inside the Header Template).
-> Make sure ONLY DESKTOP is affected — TABLET and MOBILE should REMAIN UNTOUCHED.
-> AVOID FLICKERING, layering issues, or any visual glitches.
-> If YOU HAVE A BETTER SOLUTION than ours: please COMMUNICATE it before implementation.
