Electron.js Web Browser
Budget: $10 – $700 USD
!!!! READ BEFORE BIDDING !!!!
I'm in need of a skilled Electron.js developer to build a web browser.
Features include:
- Custom titlebar.
- Tabs handling.
- Navigation (back, forward, reload and home).
- Resolve domains using DNS servers specified in a remote JSON file.
- Data from the "Search" input field will be submitted as a get request to a remote URL.
- BrowserViews instead of webviews.
- Save URL as a bookmark in a local SQLite database.
- Togglable sidebar (left) to display the bookmarks stored in a SQLite database.
- Manage bookmarks.
- Custom right-click context menu.
Tabs must be responsive down to a certain point, but with a max width of 200 pixels. As a developer, you will make sure that's achieved. Tabs must also contain the loaded website/document favicon and title. Tabs isn't required to be draggable, but a big plus if they are (maybe using dragula.js).
All over, this application should work as any normal web browser, only with certain custom features mentioned above.
Attached is an image on how I want the browser application to look. Disregard features that is not mentioned in this description, but the look must be exactly like the image shows.
### IMPORTANT ###
I will not create, nor release, any milestones until I see a fully working demo application that fulfills my requirements put forward in this project description.
DO NOT (!!!) make any bids unless you know what this project requires, and that you have the necessary skills to complete it.
I reserve the right to award the project based on bid received. If not accepted, I will consider the proposal as spam and report it as such.
