Designer who codes for ongoing web work
Budget: £18 – £36 GBP
We produce online events for our clients. From a design standpoint, our starting point is usually just a client website with a brand visual language that we need to closely emulate.
The client website typically sets the tone in terms of one or more logos, fonts, colours and graphics or images. It’s then down to us to acquire and interpret that, and apply it to the flexibility which our own interface offers.
This process requires a designer’s eye to see the possibilities and practicalities and a developer’s skills to implement.
As such, we’re looking for a freelance ‘designer who codes’ to support us in that need.
The code skills you will need to be fluent in are:
• CSS including all aspects of CSS grid, flexbox and custom properties
• SVG image making from various sources
• Accessible, semantic custom HTML
• JavaScript (not jQuery)
