WP: Custom Post Type + Elementor: not showing single item with elementor custom template.

I think it's a silly problem but I really can't figure it out.
I created a custom post type with CPT UI, I added a taxonomy, imported relative contents, it works.
I created a dynamic custom archive with elementor, it shows the right contents with relative metadata.
With Elementor I created a template, I applied it to the single content and not to all the articles. It does not work.
The single content is shown with a basic structure without any Elementor template.
I searched for various solutions but they were already done in the initial configuration.
I can't find the error. I think it's very quick to solve it for an external person. I also have a lot of urgency because I am stuck.
