I’d like a small, stand-alone HTML5 portfolio that feels imaginative and fresh. The site’s single focus is a Project Showcase section where each piece of work can shine through smooth transitions, subtle motion, and bold, visually engaging layouts. Think handcrafted, semantic markup complemented by modern CSS3 techniques and a sprinkle of JavaScript where it genuinely elevates the experience.
Core requirements
• Fully responsive so it looks just as sharp on mobile as it does on desktop
• Lightweight, fast-loading pages—no frameworks that bloat the codebase
• Cross-browser consistency (latest Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge)
• Clear file structure with comments so I can update content later
Deliverables
1. Complete HTML5, CSS3, and JS source files
2. One landing page featuring the Project Showcase grid/carousel
3. Any assets or libraries used, properly licensed and organised
4. A brief README outlining how to add future projects or, if I later decide to expand with an About Me or Blog section, where those hooks should go
