Convert HTML Site to Squarespace
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I already have a fully-designed HTML website; now I want that same look and feel reproduced in Squarespace using the Brine template. The task is straightforward: rebuild the existing pages so they mirror the current layout, typography, colours and content while staying inside Squarespace’s native controls. No fresh creative direction is required—just a faithful re-creation that takes advantage of Squarespace’s responsive grid, style editor and built-in blocks.
You’ll receive:
• The original HTML/CSS files and any assets currently in use.
• Contributor access set to the Brine family template.
Deliverables:
• A live Squarespace page that matches the original page as closely as the platform allows.
• Any custom CSS entered through the Design → Custom CSS panel, clearly commented.
• A short hand-off note outlining where content lives and how I can tweak text or images myself.
Acceptance criteria:
• Visual parity with my HTML site on desktop, tablet and mobile breakpoints.
• All links, buttons and basic interactions working exactly as before.
• No external scripts added unless absolutely required because Squarespace doesn't have an alternative native solutions to accomplish the same look.
• Pages load cleanly without console errors.
If a particular layout element can’t be replicated natively in Squarespace, flag it early and suggest the closest alternative so we keep the overall aesthetic intact. Once everything is approved, I’ll switch the domain over and go live.
