Community Calendar WordPress Site
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
The site is developed. I need help with the items I can’t figure out
I need a clean, responsive WordPress site that functions first and foremost as a community calendar and information hub. The heart of the build is an easy-to-navigate events schedule where verified community members—once approved through a simple registration workflow—can post their own happenings.
Key elements I expect you to handle:
• A visual event-scheduling interface (I’m leaning toward a proven plugin such as The Events Calendar or similar, with its Community Events add-on enabled).
• A news section that lets me publish updates, announcements, and longer-form articles.
• A straightforward sign-up/login process restricted to “verified community members” so only approved users can add events, while the wider public can browse freely.
Deliverables
1. Custom WordPress theme or child theme styled to match a friendly, local-community feel, fully responsive.
2. Calendar setup, configured with the chosen plugin, including front-end submission forms and moderation controls.
3. Brief hand-off guide (video or PDF) showing me how to approve users, publish news, and manage events.
If you’ve built similar hubs before, please point me to a live example. I’m ready to move quickly once I know you understand the workflow and can recommend the right plugins and hosting configuration.
