E-Commerce Website with Login
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I’m building a full-featured e-commerce website and the backbone I need right away is a secure user login and registration flow. Shoppers have to be able to create accounts, sign in safely, and manage their profiles before I layer on any extra store functionality.
Beyond that authentication piece, the site should already have room for a scalable product catalog, a shopping cart, and a streamlined checkout that I can connect to payment gateways later. Clean, responsive front-end code is important so pages load quickly on both desktop and mobile.
Deliverables
• User registration, email verification, and password-reset flow
• Login form with session management and clear error handling
• Admin dashboard section where I can view, edit, or delete user accounts
• Well-structured code (Laravel, Django, Node, or a comparable modern stack) that I can extend for product and order modules
Acceptance criteria
1. A new visitor can sign up, confirm their email, and log in without errors.
2. Logged-in users stay authenticated across pages until they log out.
3. All sensitive data is encrypted and follows best practices (hashing, HTTPS, prepared statements/ORM).
4. Code is documented enough for another developer to maintain.
If anything is unclear about the tech stack or hosting environment, flag it early so we can lock it down together.
