Archival Website Development for Ethnomusicologist
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
I'm looking for a web developer who can help me create an archival website for my ethnomusicologist project. The site will need several pages, including one with several hundred embedded MP3 tracks, each with its own text. Another page will contain links, and another a bio. I will need the capability to continually upload materials by myself.
- The MP3 tracks and their corresponding texts will need to be organized in a searchable table or list.
- The site should be open source and easy for me to upload to.
- I will be uploading text along with the audio tracks, as well as links.
An ideal candidate for this project would have experience with developing user-friendly, open source websites, preferably using WordPress, Joomla, or Drupal. An understanding of ethnomusicology or experience working with similar archival projects would be a plus.
