Add button to existing webpage to change to dark mode (css)

I'm using a iptv server (minisatip) which serves a small webserver with a status page. I would like to have a dark mode option included in the webpage which stores the setting for the next visit or restart of the webserver.

There is only 1 html file called status.html and 1 css file called jquery.dataTables.min.css
