Secure LF Hotel Key Card Encoding
Budget: ₹12,500 – ₹37,500 INR
We are working on an authorized access-control solution that needs to integrate with multiple hotel lock systems.
Our requirement is to encode RFID hotel key cards so that they are compatible with different lock brands based on authorized card samples and lock specifications we provide.
We are not looking to break or bypass encryption.
We only need an expert who understands:
• RFID card technologies (MIFARE, DESFire, etc.)
• Sector-based memory structures
• Key diversification
• Secure key management
• How to generate card encoding data from approved samples
• How to prepare compatible data blocks for our card management system
The task involves:
• Analyzing authorized sample cards for supported lock brands
• Understanding their open (non-restricted) sectors and encoding patterns
• Preparing the correct encryption keys, data structures, and write instructions
• Helping us format blank RFID key cards to work with the target lock system
We are already sourcing encoding data in bulk from overseas partners — we now want to bring this capability in-house in a fully compliant and authorized manner.
Required Skills
• Strong understanding of RFID hotel lock technologies
• Experience with MIFARE Classic / DESFire EV1/EV2
• Experience with key diversification schemes
• Familiarity with sector/key A/key B configurations
• Ability to generate encoding templates for multiple lock models
• Experience with reading and writing using tools/readers such as:
• ACR122U
• Proxmark3
• Other NFC/RFID analyzers
