STM32 Firmware Developer – UART + DMA + AES Encryption UART(TX & RX)
Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD
Firmware (Base RTK): Responsible for encrypting RTCM data, communication via UART, and transmitting data via RTK radio. STM32 Firmware Developer – UART + DMA + AES Encryption (TX & RX)
Core Requirements
UART RX using DMA circular buffer + IDLE line detection
Custom binary frame protocol
Encryption using AES-GCM or AES-CCM
(hardware crypto preferred on STM32H755)
Frame counter + session nonce
Clean, modular, well-documented C code
Decryption Firmware: Responsible for decrypting the encrypted RTCM data and sending it to the final device.
Requirements:
Experience with STM32 and embedded systems.
In-depth knowledge of AES-CTR encryption and communication protocols like RTCM.
Ability to work with UART, DMA, and handle real-time data flows.
Capable of performing tests to validate data flow and encryption.
Project Scope:
Creation of secure firmware for communication between UM981 and STM32.
Implementation of encryption and decryption for RTCM data.
Implementation of radio communication protocols (RTK).
Implementation of Configuration of Unicore Module.
Ensure the system is robust, efficient, and scalable with failure control and energy recovery.
Expectations:
The firmware should be optimized for systems with limited resources.
Delivery should include essential tests such as overflow control, cryptographic integrity, and energy recovery after power loss.
If you have experience with RTK firmware and encryption, this project is for you!
PROJECT START IN THE MIDLLE OF MARCH. in the mean while before starts, we will have chats to make sure all works accordingly.
